In the previous article, I have shown you how to create a Dropdown menu. Now it's time to use it and let's see how we can actually benefit. 🏄‍♀️

1. Hide dropdown options

Go to the Override control panel on the right side, target the option that you want to hide, click and choose “No symbol”.

Hide the dropdown menu's option

2. Show the dropdown option

If you accidentally hide the option you don't want, you sure can bring it back 😉.

Target the option that shows “No symbol” in the Override panel, then you can add that option back by inserting the options symbol in the library.

Bring back the Option symbol

3. Switch between different states (default, hover, selected, disabled) for the option

Target the options symbol in the Override panel, then open the dropdown and select the state that you wish to change to.

Change from Default to Selected state
Change from Default to Hover state

All above is the control that you can do with a scalable dropdown menu symbol using Smart Layout and Nested Symbol.

Hope it helps!
